Sun Worshippers and Tomb Raiders

Part 1 - Sun Worshippers and Tomb Raiders


The Aztecs, Mayans and Egyptians were all undoubtedly great civilisations. History tells us that they had advanced civilisations that had made great strides in the fields of science, agriculture and astronomy amongst others and that they created great cities with complex structures and an ordered society. These civilisations lasted thousands of years...and then they disappeared from the face of the Earth. Each of them left behind traces of their civilisations - pottery, metals, engravings, remnants of cities with sewerage systems and temples - and they ALL left behind Pyramids.

The Mayans, Aztecs and Egyptians lived some thousands of years apart in different parts of the world. What made them all decide to build Pyramids before they were wiped out and what caused them their civilisations - once great - to disappear?

The Pyramids that they left behind were covered with inscriptions and hieroglyphics depicting stories of their great leaders and their people and their gods. Many believed that these ancient civilisations were Sun Worshippers with an interest in Astronomy and with advanced knowledge of the sciences and these facts appeared to be backed up by all the inscriptions that were left on their Pyramids.

Archaeologists discovered that the inscriptions and hieroglyphics seemed to relate to the Sun, leading to the commonly held view that these civilisations were all Sun Worshippers but Linguists have recently discovered that the heiroglyphics seem to be telling a story ABOUT the Sun rather than stories about worshipping the Sun. In fact, they seem to be providing some very specific details about the Solar system and Sunspot Cycles.

A Sunspot is a radiation flare from solar storms on the sun. These storms last thousands and millions of years and have a regular pattern that cycles. Small cycles are like 11 years but there are bigger cycles and one of the bigger ones is estimated to be around 5000 years give or take.



The peak of the next large sunspot cycle falls towards the end of 2012 which coincides with the end of the long count of the Mayans calendar. Now a sunspot in itself is nothing to be concerned about. They happen all the time and you can get information about how many sunspots occurred in a given month from the NASA website. What is of concern is the size of the sunspots and what they cause.

What appear to us as spots or blemishes on the surface of the sun are in fact huge explosions of gas and plasma occurring within the tremendous solar storms that occur on the surface of the sun. These explosions cause the superheated gases and other materials to be ejected from the sun in the form of a solar flare that streams out from the sun into the solar system. Heat and radiation from these solar flares is immense and the effects are unpredictable but directly related to the size of the flare and the distance that it travels.

Were a solar flare to be huge enough to reach the Earth, the effects could be catastrophic with massive heat, radiation and magnetic fields having unknown effects on the earth and it's inhabitants.

The writing appears to be on the walls of the Pyramids built by the Aztecs, Mayans and Egyptians telling us that the effects of sunspots can indeed reach the earth and that they are something so serious that the Mayans calendar was synchronised with these sunspot cycles.

NASA has already observed shifting magnetic field patterns on the earth over the last century and there are certain areas where this has caused compasses to indicate false readings (the Bermuda Triangle is a known affected area).

If the solar flare is to hit Earth in 2012, it has probably already occurred and it is already on it's way to earth. The highest speed particles and radiation from the flare could already be reaching earth which could be the reason for the early effects to already be noticed. The recent increase in earthquakes, superstorms, shifting weather patterns and rise in temperatures could all be down to this.

So, if scientific evidence does point to 2012 as a catastrophic year for Earth, the question is whether the natural effects will slowly increase going towards 2012 with more storms and earthquakes each year or whether the effect will be a catastrophic one causing an end to civilisation as we know it.

Some say that that the heiroglyphics on the Pyramids indicate an astronomical event that is going to occur in 2012 within our solar system but that it is not clear what this event will be. The Sunspot cycles could just be an effective way of telling the time over thousands of years and rather than sunspots being able to affect the earth it is more likely that an important astronomical event will occur...possibly an as yet unknown planet or comet passing through our solar system.

Discussions are taking place all over the world where secretive groups, governments and other organisations are trying to come to some sort of conclusion about what exactly will happen and what the effects will be...but one thing is certain - 2012 appears to be the year that they are all discussing. The Mayan calendar appears to end on December 21st, 2012.

In another part of the world in another field of scientific endeavour, geologists were puzzled about data taken from samples that they had dug up from the Earth.

Part of their jobs entailed taking core samples from mountains and glaciers and rocks and analysing this data that would tell the story of the Earth from thousands and thousands of years ago. Most of the data seemed to fit with what they were expecting but there were certain anomalies that they could quite figure out causing them to check and recheck the data.

Since they couldn’t really figure out the answer, they decided that what the data showed must in fact be true and they left it at that, compiled their data and entered into their computers which sent the data via the internet to universities and research institutes around the world to sit gathering virtual dust until someone wanted to use it.

What was this anomaly? Had they accidentally stumbled onto a historical event that had occurred on a global scale that was just so strange and unacceptable that they felt foolish mentioning it? What was this secret that the Earth had hidden for so long and was now revealing...only to be ignored until it was too late?

2012 - A Story in the Making - for 5000 plus years? Prologues...

Part 1 prologue – Tomb Raiders and Sun Worshippers

There seems to be a story brewing...well actually it’s been brewing for around 5000 years...at least ! It seems to stem from 3 ancient civilisations – the Aztecs, Mayans and Egyptians - and possibly from some even before them such as the Sumerians.

The questions? WHY did they disappear? Why did they find it necessary to build Pyramids? What was the story that they were trying to tell?

What all this fuss about the year 2012?

There seems to be a lot of discussion about the year 2012 and how it may be the end of the world for some. I took an interest in this subject a few years back and although I don't believe that it will be the end of the world, I do think that there are some catastrophic events in store for us coming up to 2012.

Apple MacBook versus Windows XP PC

I’ve used Macs on and off throughout my career but have always preferred PC because of the inherent openness of the PC as a tool. The PC allows you to DO ANYTHING whereas the Mac allows you to do only that which APPLE think you should be allowed to do..no questions and no exceptions otherwise its a hack or breach of contract!!!
So PC’s it was until recently when I went out to buy a new laptop to replace my existing one which was getting a bit old. A friend of mine was a complete Apple fanatic and I blame him totally for what happened next (yeah you know who you are!!) ...

Yes I got a MacBook. White, Shiny, Apple logo, the works!!! For the first month I cursed my friend daily (sorry mate) but I’ll tell you something that I wasn’t expecting to ever say. Good Job Jobs!!!

I completely redesigned some of the websites I work with using the Mac and I have to say that after the initial learning curve, it was just as easy as on the PC. You can take a look at one of them at www.PristinePakistan.com

The Age of Information is at hand!

The Age of Information is at hand! Behold the Internet! A web of power that envelops the earth and invades the consciousness of every educated human being and of the less privileged, who have only heard legends of it's power.

The power to provide instant gratification to all. Those in search of knowledge. Those seeking truth or opinion. Fact or Fiction. Those seeking friends and companionship or seeking to earn their portion. Those seeking thrills cheaply, or by way of great expense.

You get the general picture. Everyone reading this article and many more besides spend a great deal of time on the internet for many reasons both business and personal. Having an identity on the net is now as important as having a telephone number or a postal address. Somewhere to hang our hats - a place to express our opinions and to view the opinions of others.

Minorities in particular benefit from this phenomena by being able to reach out across distances, great and small, to touch the minds and chat windows of our peers.

This has had the effect of highlighting a common trait in the online world of the Muslim today. By definition, we are educated and love to enhance our knowledge through many means. To read and comment/criticize articles, books, journals, movies and events. Our intellect enables us to absorb vast quantities of knowledge and opinions as well as vast quantities of our time! We are empowered to express our opinions on the opinions of others and as educated and enlightened individuals, why shouldn't we? Surely that is our God given right!

Our view of the world is rational and scientific - based in the reality of the here and now with an occassional thought for the glorious past and the dubious future.

Why then are we unable to reconcile our faith with our understanding of the world today? Why then are we unable to question the beliefs so ceremoniously handed down to us from our forefathers for fear of retribution? How then can we be so superstitious?

'But Wait', you say. 'I'm not superstitious!'

Superstition Test - Take a picture of a loved one and then, without hesitation, try and stab it through the eyes with a pair of scissors or something. Can you? If you can, then indeed you aren't superstitious in the least...but if you can't...why can't you? It's just a picture! A simple exposure of light onto a light sensitive device!

Most of us would fail this 'superstition test'. Perhaps we have inherited superstition through generation upon generation of humanity.

We, as enlightened, moderate, educated individuals, have a number of 'no-go' areas in our lives and minds. We are unable to tackle these, 'head-on', as we tackle almost everything else that this life throws at us. We hesitate, pause, and attempt to find a way to avoid it and if forced to face it, we do so with trepidation.

Our faith is one of the things to suffer from this hesitation. The stream of religious duties and obligations, the rituals and rites, the fear of doing something wrong or for not doing something right - the fear of even thinking the wrong thing let alone expressing it in case of retribution from our Lord or from religious leaders, or of criticism from our religious peers and western colleagues.

How many of you can relate to the following :

As the twin towers crashed to the ground and Islam was blamed I felt the eyes of my colleagues turn to me with incredulity. 'This is what you follow? This is what you condone?' My pleas that it was not Islamic terrorism but only terrorism fell on ears deafened by the noise emanating from the media circus who were eager to pounce on this - almost ready and waiting to pounce.

Today as the deafening roar of the media shows no signs of subsiding, we skirt around the issues, at times expressing ignorance and at other times trying in vain to create a distance between 'us and them', only to find that the trail of breadcrumbs leads back to the doorway of our identity as Muslims.

We have difficulty in reconciling what is portrayed as Islam by mullahs, religious leaders/scholars and what we - as moderate, enlightened, educated individuals expect from the religion prescribed for us by the Creator of everything.

Some of us are of the view that ‘our parents followed it and so must we’, while others push it to a corner of their minds - up on a shelf, in a room rarely visited. Something to be kept in honor of our elders, but not to be shown to the outside world as a part of who we are or want to be seen as. Still others tend to drift away from it, hoping that it will fade away and allow them to just live their lives and some just rebel against it choosing to believe that if some parts of what we are taught are wrong then so must all of it be.

We will happily pick up the latest best-seller and consume it in one bleary eyed night – happy to critically examine the mind of the author and evaluate his/her writing or thinking. We boast of our interest in reading and learning – fact and fiction alike and so literate are we that we know there is no book coming from the mind of humankind that we cannot comprehend - so literate are we.

We hear ample stories of converts to Islam who are progressive and religious and seem to have no difficulty in accepting that, of which some of us feel ashamed. We know that the Quran is a best seller – being sold in huge numbers across the whole world and we feel pride - a resurgence of hope that the predictions of a glorious day when Islam will spread to the four corners of the Earth will come soon so that we can hold up our heads and say 'we are of those who believe'.

And yet. We will not pick up the Quran and read it as it was meant to be read. Very few of us do what is enjoined upon us to do, which is to go to the source - without any middle men to 'explain' it to us and to see whether we can find out for ourselves what the realities are.

To attempt to understand what it is that God is saying in His OPEN LETTER to humankind. To evaluate The Criterion, by which mankind – WE - are to be judged. To ascertain for ourselves The Truth - without addition or alteration or well rehearsed guidance from those who would control us.

Doc Mood

ERA 911. When darkness spreads over the world.

When I saw the second plane hit the twin towers and then moments later a whole barrage of offensive garbage started spewing from the world media about Islamic terrorists, I knew that this was a new, dark, era in the history of humanity. The leaders of nations have a lot to answer for and it is obvious to MILLIONS of people around the world that the power hungry, greedy power brokers in these countries around the world organise and orchestrate these types of attacks to further their own strategies.

They no longer care if their own people die...in fact the more that die the better a news story it makes and the higher the chances that their objective to spread further violence and intolerance amongst the masses will succeed.

The unfortunate truth is that ordinary people who are just spectators in all of this have become the silent majority and feel powerless to do anything about it whilst the few rich and powerful world players (of whatever creed) toy with the lives of billions. The CIA, Al-Qaeda, ISI, RAW, Mosad and all those agencies that carry out the commands of those in power are being played off one against the other with the result being the world as it is today. They are all funded from the same sources and supplied with intel and strategy from the same sources. They are armed with weapons from the same sources and are given objectives from the same sources. There IS NO Islamic terrorism ... only terrorism and the perpetrators of this terror are the greedy and vicious world leaders, power brokers, global corporations and their ilk who have sold their souls for power and money.

It is easy to find disillusioned and impressionable people in broken and war torn countries who can easily be brainwashed into fighting for a cause that THEY think is good if you supply the right resources and pressure. This is what is happening right now in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, many African countries and many other 3rd world countries. A breeding ground is being maintained so that a ready factory of suicide bombers and fanatics to a cause are available for the NEXT 9/11 or 7/7 or 9/21. There will be many more in this era.

Mark my words, these same greedy people will find that the monster that they have created will be the end of them since greed knows no bounds and it is only a matter of time before they themselves become each others targets.

It is unfortunate that in the meantime ordinary people are losing their lives and the terror that they are causing worldwide is grinding average Joe down to the level of a fearful, distrusting, xenophobic animal who is ready to blame anyone who is different from him for the problems that he faces in his daily life. This Joe, exists in every country in every part of the world, in every household and it is only by taming this xenophobic animal within all of us that we can spread the message of peace and love to those around us and thereby fight the effects of this terror. We, Americans, Europeans, Africans, Orientals, Asians - Christians, Muslims or otherwise, must understand that every people are subjected to trials that make them question themselves and that if they hold on to the best within themselves and show patience and understanding and kindness to their fellow human beings, it will strengthen their resolve and enable them to see the truth for what it really is and will cease to be misled.

My message to everyone is to show patience and kindness to ALL around you and to think before you say something that might offend and to not allow yourself to become an agent of terror in this war as we are all human and we all have the same weaknesses. Kindness begets kindness, tolerance begets tolerance...our children will learn from us...what is it that we are teaching them?

Marriot Hotel Blast in sector F6 Islamabad, Pakistan

There was a huge explosion at 8pm that resounded around the federal capital of Islamabad. Windows shook in houses and buildings as far away as sector F11 (10km away!). We were at an Aftari dinner at a friends house in E9 and when the blast occurred there was no mistaking it for what it was. The windows rattled and the building trembled and we all looked at each other in silence, hoping that someone would come out with an explanation that it was anything other than the obvious, but no one spoke for a few minutes. We turned on the news and were greeted with the news that the Marriot Hotel in sector F6 of Islamabad had been attacked. We often went there for it was the only place in Islamabad where you could get Sushi !

It has been almost three hours since the blast and reports are coming in thick and fast. Many injured and many more dead, the entire building is ablaze and there is a HUGE crater where the valet parking pay used to be in front of the entrance.

Hotel staff are reporting on TV news channels that up until yesterday there were a large number of foreigners and diplomats staying at the hotel and dining there but today almost all foreigners had checked out and only 3 tables had been booked by foreigners. This BEGS an explanation! Did the authorities have prior notice of this attack? If so why weren't additional steps taken to counter the threat If there was no prior warning then someone needs to explain !

My opinion of the matter is that the enemies of Pakistan have decided that now is the time to act since the army is no longer in power and a civilian government is much easier to handle.

Regime change here has already been achieved with Asif Ali Zardari having been elected as president so why on earth would the extremists, who up until now were targeting army personnel want to take out a hotel in Islamabad? The whole thing stinks to high heaven - no doubt there will be some sort of "reasonable" explanation given as to why average citizens enjoying dinner out with friends and families suddenly became the top priority target for militants but no matter what is said the truth will come out eventually...hopefully before it is too late.

Please pray for the victims and for the future of Pakistan so that it can become a useful member of the international community instead of a breeding ground for conspiracists, extremists, dictators in the waiting and other loonies !
